Published on 4 March 2015, dans Exhibitions and Museums
If you have an interest in the world of art and design, whether professionally or as an enthusiast and collector, then the Hotel Université would like to let you know about a couple of trade shows coming very soon to Paris. As they both take place at the same time you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy each of them during your stay in our fair city. Art Paris Art Fair and PAD boast an international reach and we’re very proud that they have such a prestigious reputation.
The Art Paris Art Fair at the Grand Palais
Beneath the soaring glass roof of the majestic Grand Palais the Art Paris Art Fair will unleash its creative dynamism from March 24th to 29th. This inclusive and diverse event covers every aspect of modern and contemporary art and design and is accessible to all categories of visitors from trade professionals to those who are simply curious. From 11:30 each day until early evening you can see what 140 galleries from 20 countries around the world have to offer, as well as enjoy solo shows and various thematic areas. This year’s international guest is Southeast Asia and Singapore, a region with a vibrant art scene that certainly deserves wider exposure.
PAD at the Tuileries- Esplanade des Feuillants
Overlapping to a large extent with the fair mentioned above, the Pavilion of Art and Design presents one of the city’s most consistently successful trade shows from March 26th to 29th. For almost two decades this show has presented an amazingly eclectic array of artistic endeavour, including paintings, drawings, silver and glass work, jewellery and furniture. The emphasis this year will be on Primitive Art and the dynamic qualities it possesses. Some 75 galleries will be present, many from other countries, and there will be opportunities to view the work of the art world’s hottest new talents.
