Convivial moments to share in the Jardin des Tuileries
With its lush greenery and soothing atmosphere, the Jardin des Tuileries invites you to dream and relax. Located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, this oldest and largest of the capital’s public gardens is home to trees that have been there since the Second Empire. What could be better than to enjoy a picnic with your loved ones, caressed by the sun’s soft rays in the heart of this masterpiece of classic garden design? With your partner, family or friends, you’re certain to enjoy spending time here, whether during the day or evening.
The annual Tuileries Festival; an essential event
Taking place from June 23rd to August 26th, 2018, the Fête Foraine du Jardin des Tuileries is an essential family event. It’s also the second largest carnival in Paris, just behind the Foire du Trône. On the programme this summer are fun-filled attractions for children such as ghost trains and the Ferris wheel, not to mention an authentic and beautiful carrousel dating from 1900. The young ones will also have a wonderful time on the giant slides and trampolines. And, of course, crepes, candy floss and toffee apples will be available. In all, there are more than 60 different attractions (including 20 rides). Admission is free, but there is a charge for the rides and other attractions.
